Get Rich Quick
Getting rich quick is an attractive idea to many. And as you may have already seen, the internet is filled with get rich quick schemes offering large profits with little work involved. Although a few of these offer a working system, most of these "too good to be true" systems are, in fact, just that. The reality is, making money of any kind usually involves a certain degree of time and effort time put forth in acheiving it. There are any number of legitimate ways in earning a large amount of money fairly quickly, and by using the word "quickly", I'm talking about months, in the very least, not days. The problem is in coming up with a unique approach to achieve this.
Many of us, at one time or another, believe we have hit on a marvel idea, or an ingeneous product that others would be interested in buying. This is a venture that could very well turn out profitable. Being creative and coming up with a unique product or business idea can be one of the most rewarding things you may ever do. It can also be one of most lucrative if not approached correctly. However, if marketed right, a new and novel idea is like a snowstorm in July. People are automatically drawn to it, and if only for a brief second, it has their undivided attention. It's in this short time span that you must capture their attention and sell your product. Getting rich from one of these unique ideas certainly has it's appeal, but when given the cost of patents, lawyer fees and the question of marketing success, it too, can often turn into a daunting experience. Luckily, there are more "tried and true" methods available in which we can make an income, and still have the possibilities of large profits.
Businesses make money everyday through bulk buying and the resale of products. And though it's something that most of us see on a daily basis, we fail to realize the importance of this scenario, especially when it comes to the part about buying in bulk. Regardless of whether you're dealing in real estate, produce, clothing or any other resalable items, buying in bulk offers its advantages. Anything associated with bulk usually offers a much lower price than purchasing items individually. An example is real estate. Buying a large section of land and then subdividing it into smaller lots can yield large profits. Albeit there are certain risks involved, and few of us have the capital to invest in real estate, the potential for huge profits is there. The same applies to almost everything bought in bulk that is resalable.
Lets take for instance, newspaper advertising. An individual small-sized ad may cost $150. Considering that 50 of these ads may fit on an entire page, you might think that buying a full page would cost $7,500. However, this isn't the case. In actuality, an entire page may cost only $1,000!! Why? Because it's easier and less work for the publication. Now imagine if you were to approach retailers and offer them a 50% discount by listing their ad on your page. You could bet that many would bite on it. Granted you have the task of arranging the ads, setting up the page, adding some compelling graphics and coming up with a clever title. But even with the space used to create your page title (and if you did your homework and filled the entire page), you could easily make over $2,000 a week. And although you may have to invest some money to get started, finding retailers to approach with this offer couldn't be easier. Many of them are already listed in the advertisement section.
The preceding is only one example of a clever approach to the "tried and true" method of marketing. Businesses and the wealthy have used this system for ages. And unless you hold the secret for winning the lotto, it's about as close to a "get rich quick" scheme as you can find.
Secrets Of Wealth
Many people constantly look for the quick way to put cash in their pockets. If only they were to devote the same amount of time "doing" instead of just "looking" they would probably already be on their way. Most everyone has some idea of what they would "really like to do" with their lives. The problem is that they only consider it and never take action. "Fear of doing" is one of the biggest problems that they face.
The key to gaining wealth of any kind is in being aware of your thinking process. The poor believe that they will only fail. The rich say, "How can I do it?" The difference being that the poor focus on the problem, while the rich search for the solution. Sitting back and doing nothing accomplishes just that. Your energy and mindset must be focused on an objective or a goal. You must visualize what you want and put forth the effort on attaining it. Take an idea and make it work. It doesn't matter if it's been done before or not. Believe in what you're doing and make it come to life.
There are several books on the subject of obtaining what you truly believe in. Rhonda Byrne's "The Secret" became a bestseller, as the book also believes that wealth comes to people who want it. This isn't just hype. Will and desire are the driving forces behind reality and accomplishment. This holds true, not only for aquiring money, but for anything that you want. Think back in history to the Wright Brothers. They believed they could fly... and they did. Columbus believed the earth was round... and proved it. Martin Luther King had a dream... and I'd say with our 44th President... he helped make it happen. The list goes on.
These people not only had the desire and the ambition to change their own lives, but they changed the lives of countless others along the way. Granted your dreams may not be as big as these but it proves the point that believing is doing, and doing is believing.
And in all honesty the measure of wealth is much more than just the accumulation of money. The word "wealth" comes from the Old English words "weal" (well being) and "th" (condition) which when taken together means "the condition of well being". "Genuine Wealth" could be further defined, as noted by Robert Kennedy, as "the things that make life worthwhile". Some may see this as vast hordes of money while others may see it as the appreciation for the things we already have, like the beauty of the sunset or a breath of crisp morning air. Regardless of what makes life worthwhile, it all ties together with living your dreams and getting the most out of life. But don't just sit back and expect it to come to you, live for "the things that make life worthwhile"... and the riches of life will happen.
